AHS employees can only opt-in online at payroll.albertacancerlottery.ca. AHS employees are not able to opt-in to the payroll deduction program through albertacancerlottery.ca, by phone, mail, or in-person.

These payment deductions will occur provided that the ticket-processing centre can validate the AHS employee ID and that the opt-in request was made before the payroll deduction deadline of July 22, 2026. Only employees with a valid Alberta Health Services Employee ID (including Alberta Precision Labs) are eligible for the payroll deduction program. Covenant Health and Carewest employees are not eligible for the payroll deduction program.

Opt-in enrollments received for Alberta Cancer Foundation Lottery, 5050, and Win Daily Cash tickets by July 22, 2026 will be eligible for prizes including:

  • Early Bird draw and Final grand prize draw for Alberta Cancer Foundation Lottery ticket purchases.
  • Final Jackpot draw for 5050 ticket purchases.
  • Draws #43-#70 for $1,000 each, draws #71-99 for $10,000 each, and draw #100 for $100,000 for the Win Daily Cash ticket purchases.
If a payment defaults and cannot be processed during the above-listed payroll periods, a lottery ticket will not be issued, and the AHS employee will be refunded for any payments taken prior to the defaulted payment.

Individual ticket numbers are generated and issued once all four payments have been received. Individuals will be entered into the lottery draw once ticket number(s) are generated. Lottery numbers are sent by email.

Email communication will only ever be sent from the Alberta Cancer Foundation Lottery email, [email protected]. For more information regarding privacy and protection against fraud, read our Privacy Policy.
